MY ART JOURNEY

I am Rama Garg nee Dani. I was born in Ajmer. My schooling was from Vidya Bhawan school Udaipur till 11th class. I wish to tell you about the school days :our school made me alI-rounder .I learned painting from renowned artist Shri Mohan Lal Sharma our school art teacher ,I got privilege to learn Bharatanatyam in my school from Shri. Rajamani ji, I passed diploma in Bharatanatyam from Prayag university along with my schooling . Then I passed my first year in science from Meera Girls College, Here I got first rank in the class. After words I took pre medical entrance exam and I was 9 th in rank in Rajasthan. I pursued my MBBS ,from RNT medical college Udaipur. After that I got married and then came to Ajmer. I pursued my masters in gynaecology .During my post graduation I became the mother of two sweet daughters. After completion of my post graduation in Obstetrics and gynaecology I started working in our private clinic. Later on my husband and I built a twenty bedded hospital and have been enjoying my private practice since then. I gave birth to my son in 2005. I used to teach my children as hobby and duty towards them as I am a daughter of teachers my priority was to provide best education to my kids. When they grew older and become self dependent on their studies I got time and opportunity to fulfil my passion for painting I took up my brushes and colour and started paintings. Initially a few paintings I made were for gifts to my family members, they came out so beautiful that my well wishers encouraged me to continue with paintings. This is the breakthrough in my career as an artist. I started to buy a lot of art material, took classes in summer camps. YouTube tutorials, online classes from renowned artists. I send my artwork to curators in Delhi and I am lucky to get a chance to display my three paintings in AIFACS. I get wonderful responses for my coffee painting. Then I participated in various art exhibitions and then came the COVID…all exhibitions went online. I too started my online shop on Etsy . After Covid I conducted a few exhibitions at my own art gallery, got orders and sold my paintings.
